Dear Chelmsford Resident,

The Chelmsford Energy Fair is a unique opportunity to save on energy costs and learn more about renewable sources of energy. The fair is sponsored by Chelmsford Saves and will be at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 7 between 1 and 5 pm. The Energy Fair will include four vendors and organizations to visit at tables in the Auditorium.

TechniArt is a MassSave partner that supplies energy-efficient lighting, and they will offer their amazing Combo Pack of LED lights -- a $75 value -- for only $10. TechniArt will also offer Advanced Power Strips for $10.

Chelmsford's partner for our community energy efficiency program is Next Step Living. They can sign you up for a no-cost home energy audit, answer your questions about the audits and other energy efficiency measures, and provide information on the MassSave rebates available on qualifying equipment.

Mass Energy is a local non-profit that can help "green" your electricity by bringing local renewable power from wind, solar, biomass, and low-impact hydro to the collective grid on your behalf—all without changing your regular utility company.

The non-profit Solstice Initiative will allow you to reserve a share of a local community solar power project. There is no upfront cost, and you generate solar savings every month.

I will also be there to answer questions about Chelmsford Saves, our recent Solarize program, and other energy-related issues. Please join your neighbors and community leaders who have taken advantage of a no-cost home energy assessment and are already saving money on energy bills while making their homes more comfortable and environmentally friendly.

Hope to see you there! -- Marc Grant, Chelmsford Saves volunteer
